Brisbane has a comfortable, sub-tropical climate, which is enjoyable all year round with temperatures averaging in the mid to high 20’s all year round.
Brisbane by Season
Summer spans the months of December to February and sees the highest rainfalls. Whilst high 20’s are the average during summer, many days are in the high 30’s and sometimes occasionally even crack the 40 degree Celsius mark.
Autumn lasts from March until May and is favored by many being very comfortable weather day and night. Temps range from 18 to 25 Celsius.
Winter starts in June and finishes in August. During this time it is not as humid and there is much less rainfall, the nights are certainly cooler too, but not cold, dropping only to the mid-teens on average. It’s still a great time to visit, particularly if you don’t like really hot weather.
Spring starts in September and finishes in November offering very pleasant weather albeit a little dry and occasionally windy in its early onset. Temps range from 16 to 25 degrees.
